“I find Nature in all its forms to be endlessly inspiring. From the ebb and flow of the seasons to the waxing and waning of the moon and the sometimes ominous skies we are currently experiencing. I also find myself influenced by visiting museums and the ancient worn surfaces of a frescoe or Japanese screen or the colours and intricate patterns of a ming vase. I aim to capture a sense of place and a moment in time, as well as the delicate balance and irrepressible force of nature”.
